The following properties of our cold worked steel aggregate make it superior to cast steel shot for all high density concrete applications:
- Higher density of 7.8 gm/cc vs. 7.0 gm/cc for steel shot.
- Reduced slump due to the aggregate particle shape.
- A lower cost per ton purchase price.
Our steel aggregates can be custom screened to your needs. Some common sieve sizes are minus 3, 4, 5, and 6 mesh.
Material can be shipped in any of the following ways:
- Bulk dump truck.
- Bulk bags containing any quantity up to 4,500 pounds per bag.
- 55 gallon steel drums.
- 50 pound paper bags.
